One of our most popular designed house plans (the Farmstead) is nearing the end of its construction.  Showings have started and we are getting tons of great feed back.  There are several custom design features in this home, one of which stands out from the rest.  Pictured here is a custom made vent hood designed and installed by a local wood craftsman. We have teamed up with his company to help bring our customers more high end quality options when finishing their homes.  This hood is custom designed to fit a flush mount blower unit over the cook top.  The ducting is concealed by tapering cedar planks and trim moldings finish off the rustic appearance.  The majority of this kitchen is in the white and black color pallet.  This hood adds just the right amount of warmth, helping tie the kitchen to the family room.  One thing you might notice is the cook top is missing.  Did we forget it?  Nope, we leave the cook top out so the purchaser of this new home can pick out the one that works best for their needs.
